Cary Whaley, VP - Planning & Development

As SAW's VP of Planning and Development, Cary leverages skills of project management to create strategic plans for SAW.

When he was the SAW Education Coordinator, he planned numerous workshops, and started the SAW Songwriter's Exchange, a monthly songwriter's critique and writer's forum. He provided relevant educational programs that help writers from the novice to the seasoned, touring songwriter hone their craft.

Oh yes, he writes songs, too. While still honing his craft, he writes songs that explore the hopeful side of life. He can be seen nervously performing at area open mics.
