Songwriter's Toolbox Session (4th Saturday)

  • 04/22/2017
  • 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
  • 1988 Kirby Rd, McLean, VA 22101
Songwriter’s Toolbox: 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Surge, located at 1988 Kirby Rd., McLean, VA, 22101.

Facilitated by Jay Keating (jay@know1else.com) Songwriters’ Toolbox sessions are a great opportunity to connect with and learn from your songwriting peers in a friendly, respectful, and supportive environment. Come share your latest writings, ramblings or unfinished opus and find out what SAW can do to help you be a better songwriter. If you chose to share a song, please bring 10-12 copies of the lyrics, as it helps to facilitate discussion.

The Surge is located at 1988 Kirby Rd., McLean, VA 22101 near the intersection of Kirby and Westmoreland in McLean. You can find us in one of the large classrooms down the hall on the left. There’s a yoga class going on in the main congregation room so please be respectful of those folks.

SAW and the Songwriter’s Toolbox are unaffiliated with Surge or any religious group. The ambiance is secular, and the room is designed for performance.

Songwriters' Association of Washington is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization.
