Olney Open Mic and Co-Webmaster
Michelle has served on the SAW board since 2004. She currently hosts the SAW Olney Open Mic, SAW Olney Songwriter's Showcase, and also serves as the SAW Co-Webmaster.
Michelle has been playing guitar and composing songs for over 20 years, and has performed at various local venues including Mayorga Coffee Factory, Kensington Coffeehouse, Caribou Coffee, the Riverdale Bookshop, the Berwyn Café, Jammin' Java, Austin Grill, and the New Deal Café. She has also enjoyed several performing opportunities through SAW, including the Mountain Stage New Song Festival, Washington D.C's Fete De La Musique, and the Artomatic Arts Festival in Washington D.C. She performs with many local musicians, including fellow SAW members Greg Vickers and Don Bridges.
Michelle, along with musical duo partner Anne Sucher, has recently released a full-length CD, "Make a Choice". The CD has recently received airplay on WRNR-FM and WETA-FM, on "Traditions." For more information on Michelle, visit
