DEADLINE TO ENTER EXTENDED TO MIDNIGHT SATURDAY OCT 13

SAW proudly presents the 35th Annual Mid-Atlantic Song Contest (MASC) to help songwriters receive recognition for their work and to further excellence in songwriting through education. Each year, MASC presents awards in thirteen categories (Lyrics Only was added this year), two Young Artists Awards, and three Overall Grand Prizes.

Yes, there are rules and prizes (read all about that here) but here is our promise: we listen carefully and thoughtfully to all these songs, and our judges do as well. We show you who final judges are (not which categories they judge) because we are proud of the people who help us decide.

Your entry fee provides funding for many educational and networking opportunities in the art and craft of songwriting. SAW provides emerging songwriters with performance opportunities, workshops and peer critique. For more information, please visit the SAW website.
