SAW is hosting a peek at this year's Falcon Ridge Folk Festival at Earp's Ordinary errr not Earp's....(now Mackenzie's while they transition to the big club) on Sunday, July 23rd. With the 4 most requested acts to return to Falcon Ridge this year. If you can't make the concert, here is your chance. It's also my birthday, so more about how we are going to work that in later. Earp's Ordinary is the exciting new music spot in Fairfax and the best place to hold both my birthday party and this premiere SAW event. Special shout out to Paula & Scott Moore for arranging this concert and to Michael DeMarco, Joanne Doll DeMarco and Josh Alexander for making all these concerts possible. There is free parking in the building. (park on the 4th level and you are right there)
A showcase of the four emerging artists that the audience most wanted to return to this year’s Falcon Ridge Folk Festival: Moore Music favorite Sam Robbins is an “old soul singer-songwriter” from Nashville. (He also was a onetime contestant on NBC’s “The Voice.”)
New Englander Grace Morrison has gone from backup singer (Eddie Money and others) to award-winning performer of her own songs.
Massachusetts-based Erin Ash Sullivan is a lover of tacos and good grammar -- and a performer who delivers unforgettable story songs.
Vermonter Phil Henry is an old-school storyteller and skilled song crafter.
