Root Studio Open Mic (2nd Friday)

The Root Studio Open Mic is a monthly spoken word and acoustic music showcase of local and regional talent. All experience levels and genres are welcome! Performance signups begin at 6:30pm and the first act begins at 7:00pm. Two songs/readings or 8 min. of performance time is allotted to each performer. Food and beverage is available with a donation and provided by venue sponsors. Visit our website for ticket info and details!

Performance Guidelines:

• Performers can perform up to 2 songs/readings each or 8 minutes, whichever is shorter.
• Performers may buy their ticket in advance BUT to secure your spot in the set list you must signup in person on the day of the event.
  
• Signup will begin at 6:30 pm and it is first come, first served.
  
• All performances may be broadcast via Facebook Live
  
• All genres of music and literature are welcome, including covers and originals.
  
• Acoustic music only, no amps or drum kits.
  
• All registered performers will receive two complimentary tickets to this event.
